Actually I never read Tower Of Babel.

I thought you were implying it was an "elseworld" story like a lot of fans do and dismiss them like they never happened. I was sayin "if it's put to print, then it happened".

But if he never actually does it in the book, then that is news to me. I always just assumed Batman was the one that took them out.

But still... they were taken out bases on HIS findings.

Your logic is faulty. You are saying Batman is smarter because he wins and Doom loses. Doom is a villain he's going to lose because he's the villain. If he wins the comic ends......

However if you judge based upon what is actually shown in the comics Doom EASILY has outperformed Batman and Iron Man. None have achieved the inventions or feats he has and unlike alot of villains HAS actually defeated his opponents and he has bested Reed Richards on SEVERAL occasions.

Secondly what does Doom having an equal have to do with him being smarter that Batman? Doom and Reed are equals but they operate on a scale waaay beyond ANYTHING batman has achieved. Again, I'll ask you to list ANYTHING Batman has done that comes remotely close to any of the scientific accomplishments Doom has accomplished..Don't just say it...show it. I posted a thread of Doom's feats with scans and issue numbers....When Bruce can build a time machine, build a device that can inhibit super powers or steal a cosmic entities power then we can talk..........

Assuming that Batman is the smartest person in his universe (he isn't by the way), what does that have to do with Doom or Reed Richards who both have better feats than he does? Doom and Reed with prep come up with devices to travel through time, across dimensions, and defeat cosmic entities; Batman, on the other hand, barely survives against a brainwashed Superman with one-sided prep.

Bruce is smart, don't get me wrong, but he's not even seeing Victor Von Doom in the intellect department.

Doom:
Was able to steal Beyonders Powers
Built a Time machine
Was able to get his mom out of Hell
Knows magic to a high level (So when you think about it, he could fukk up Superman royally if they were matched up)

I'm not a Bat-stan. I haven't picked up a comic since like the early-mid 90's.

I just know that Dr. Doom gets beat on a consistent basis by the lamest group in Marvel and Batman cannot be outwitted or outsmarted.

Hence Batman is smarter than Doom.
