In Melo's peak he was going head to head with Kobe in the playoffs and was a household name along with LeBron, Wade, Kobe, KD, etc.
Melo's popularity is also underrated. Maybe he wasn't peak VC popular but he had all types of endorsements, commercials, video game covers, TV show appearances, music video appearances, early on his shoe line was popular, and he was a hood favorite, easily one of the most popular players to come out in the 00's. Hell, Melo was popular longer than VC was.

VC is better and more naturally gifted overall and talented but Melo had the better career and was the more prolific pure scorer.

Nikka ,Tmac wanted his own team! That shyt wasnt vince fault. Tmac went to Orlando and got GRANT HILL to join him. Who knew them injuries would sideline him like that? Not vince fault, hell he had injuries in the H too. And Tmac my ATP.

If i was melo though, no cap. I would just spend this offseason in the mountains doing core strength and cardio. NY made him too big for that stretch 4 shyt. He cant carry weight like bron and even Dwade.

T-Mac and VC were inseparable when they were on the Raptors, breh they were really tight. T-Mac had an issue with not getting enough touches, VC was ball hogging too much and getting all the shine.
