Take out "hero" and that widens the field considerably.

That makes it easy..remember there was a time Onslaught had Nate Grey and Franklin captured and access to their powers..now Franklin can create universes and Nate Grey kicked every mutant's ass outright in the Age of X Man...so it's not even hard to deduce.

Let's see..Nate Grey can mind control the entire planet like its nothing and break dimensions. Wanda changed the universe and made Thor, Sentry, Dr Strange, Doom, Apocalypse her puppets, Sentry does alot against C listers but they had Nate Grey calm him down and he never gets in the way of a Silver Surfer, Franklin and Proteus SHOULD be able to do anything, Molecule Man should be able to do anything period. Franklin and Rachel had a son in the future named Hyperstorm who do alot too. But they had Galactus feed on his power and he hasn't been seen since.

Sentry has stalemated Galactus, beaten Molecule Man & Blue Marvel, bushed Doom, beaten the Avengers repeatedly, tanked a Cosmic Cube, tanked a Nullifier shot, Nate Grey classified him as a legitimate threat, and Paul Jenkins said he's a Universal threat.

If he's not #1, he's easily Top 5.

All fair points.

Just going by the feats, he's an incredibly difficult character to beat, which is why so much depends on the writer. They wrote themselves into a corner when he's far in excess of Class 100 physical strength, can manipulate molecular material like Molecule Man, alters reality just by existing, has far stronger telepathy than Xaiver, etc.
