Yeah I know about new sun from the little gambit series but that didn't help him against Apocalypse, Stryfe, Exodus, Sinister, Joseph, etc.

New Sun Gambit bodies all the mentions above. The only disadvantage he has is that he can't control his powers which is why he went to Sinister. His powers are similar to Vulcan on steroids.

You put your own theme on it..lol. During the Phoenix story..thevone that is a major seller, Magneto knocked her out and kept going on with his business.

I think there’s an unwritten rule in the marvel comic universe that magic > *

If theres ever someone that’s invulnerable to everything or some weird circumstance of being stuck in some alternate dimension or whatever, its always magic that that solves it or can defeat it. Almost every super powerful marvel character has been defeated by use of magic. That’s why Doom got so into it and it became his main power set.
