I think "hood" is subjective, like I don't want s gang banger but I do like guys that grew up kind of rough but have common sense and are about something.

I like a regular ass nikka that knows how much sugar to put in the kool-aid, knows how many books in a spades game, owns a house in the hood, goes to work, and chills on his stoop. I don't need a guy that's flashy.

Contrary to cac media sources, most black people in the hood ain't moving dope, busting guns, and catching bodies like some goofy ass rap video. Like 20% of the people in hood actively engage in that shyt.

Most nikkas in the hood are normal ass people, probably guarded because the environment isn't conducive to being weak and soft. As long as you ain't fake, willing to stand up for yourself, snitching in shyt that don't involve you, and you comfortable in yourself...lots of hood cats (From goon to regular) will let you live.

Yeah, there are some straight fukking savages and knuckleheads that prey on everyone but that's not hood, them nikkas is just crazy and damaged.

One, I'm not a hoe and two your interpretation is wrong. If you think only hoodlums and thugs live in the "hood", that's on you. There are hardworking, blue collar workers, that purchase homes they can afford because ownership is important. These are the same neighborhoods their family and friends still live in. There are older home owners that live in the hood as well because it's affordable.
