This why Im slowly giving up trying to chase women. Many of yall don't know what you want, get into relationship with a guy you like even if he's not the right kind of guy, then complain that all men are trash. :francis:

But, I think I can try to understand what OP is talking about: When OP is talking about "Hood" dudes, she probably talking about how dominant, aggressive, yet nonchalant type of black dude with street cred. Not exactly some mean thug that does crime all the time and treats her like shyt. However, If OP's ideal guy did do some illegal activity on the side, she wouldn't mind if only it's kept on the DL, he's not killed or any serious danger, and he could provide for her. That's my guess if OP isn't being clear. Those are the types of dudes most girls get at nowadays, so I can't complain no more. It is what it is. :yeshrug:

however, IMHO, many of these relationships don't last. :hubie:

See people have a big misconception about these hood guys. Which is understandable.

But as I really think about it.
These particular men have been some of the most loyal, honest even, hard working, driven, and family/friend orientated people. Like I think about how much shyt I've been through and how they come through without judgement. Willing to help out in the time of need etc. but society looks at where they stay and what they THINK they may be into and they get the bad label of being degenerates.

Whatever or whomever I indulge in I take full responsibility. Always have.

Women don't all like the same type of guy but I will say that a heterosexual women wants a man who can drop his nuts. That doesn't mean risky behavior but simply stand up for himself. No one (even men) likes doormats.

Okay , a dominant/confident dude. That's what you mean if you aren't implying he should have to do shady shyt on the side. A dude doesn't have to be called "Hood" to be confident. When you say "hood", people in this thread assumed you were talking about actual nikkaz from the hood that bout that lyfe.
