March madness style tournaments don’t translate to best team winning it all
They lost but it’s a lot of so called countrymen gloating, which leads back me thinking nobody respects nba players, or at least nobody in America respect nba players
That’s really what this is. Idk if it’s jealousy or what…

It’s weird like people kinda look down of basketball players like they think they can beat they ass, like they sport don’t take any skill to succeed like it’s not hard as shyt to play in the nba or that international competition should be cake walks even though we have how many years of evidence that march madness type tournaments are unpredictable

Which is why I think people respect football dudes more cause they afraid of them

As I said, Noah Lyles is technically right, but because whoever wins the nba championship would wash any team in the world not in the league, nobody with critical thinking skills should be hung up on what they're called.

NBA has the best players in the world period. By a lot. And it's highly international anyway. The current champ's two best players are Serbian and Canadian.
You might be correct. But that's not the point. Never was. You can't say you're the world champions when you did not play teams from other countries. Why is that so hard for yall to comprehend?

TYRONE GA!
The expectations for every USA squad is Gold or bust. Yeah yeah other nations have caught up. Cool. The other nations didn't send their A-squads either.

This team has NBA all-stars up and down the lineup. A bunch of max contracts out there. How could the expectations not be gold? Lol.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown :francis:

Gold is the standard.

It's like Brazilians or Euro countries losing to us in Soccer. It's not acceptable

12 NBA players should be able to best a team of 4

Exactly and not just that but many were all-stars, max contract guys, ALL-NBA players on the roster etc. and they had Steve Kerr as the coach and Spo was also on the team.

In my opinion team USA wanted to lose/lost on purpose so we have something to talk about :manny:

Who cares about a fiba championship

If they did they wouldn’t of sent Reaves

Also why didn’t Brandon Ingram play a single minute

Now we got a “the world has caught up” narrative which we know is very far from the truth

Just look at Canada. They EASILY could’ve won this tournament despite not having Murray and Wiggins

On to the Olympics where USA will now destroy everyone :unimpressed:

You're caught up on words. I'm not. They're the best and no one can beat them on the planet. I'm cool with it :manny:

Most people don't call these nikkas the world champs anyway. I've never at any point in time called anybody who wins anything a world champion LOL.

But doesn't the fact the the 2 teams with the MOST NBA players ( USA and Canada) Both lost kind of prove the theory of the rest of the world catching up as plausible?

Definitely. I think it’s cause it’s probably the most accessible of all the sports. Every nikka with a hoop in their driveway thinks they’re Steph. You see it on social media all the time with the amount of people who GENUINELY believe they could get a bucket off in an NBA game. I’ve been guilty of it before.

My come to Jesus moment was my freshman year in college. I’d played ball my entire life. 3 year varsity player and all that. Gave up on the dream cause I was a 6 foot 1 center. Decided to just go to college near home and be a regular student like everybody else. But swore up and down I coulda played D1 if I was 6’6”. Until a nikka from the Rutgers basketball team decided to bless us with his presence in an open run. The nikka pulled up in sweat pants (before that was a thing) and did shyt on the court I’ve never seen in person in my life. Ran through everyone with ease. Full sprints with impeccable ball control. I left that night and looked him up only to find out he got no burn… on a Rutgers team that finished 14th in the Big East. The talent gaps are WIDE at every level.

No. The evidence is in the amount of international players thriving in the NBA.
