I know Wilder lost to Fury 2x but dude has all time great power on par with anyone who's ever stepped in a ring. If he lands on any non Tyson Fury human being, it's normally over. Even with him losing to Fury, he still put Fury down multiple times and Fury looked all but dead one of those times.
Give me Iron Mike and Wilder. If you're not a trained boxer with a hall of fame level skillset, you're not surviving their power.
Neither of those guys have ever used their legs at all in a fight, defended from kicks in a fight, had to worry about anything below the belt in a fight, learned takedown defense, or done any grappling at all. While all of their opponents have had plenty experience learning to dodge a punch.
If they were split up against the other 4, imagine Tyson and Ngannou squaring up. Prime Tyson was 5'10" 220lbs. Ngannou is 6'4" 260lbs with the hardest recorded punch in human history. Some of these knockouts were against world champions:
That last one in particular you have to watch in slow motion to see how hard he lands that shyt. Hell, you can watch they entire fight in slow motion since it only lasted 20 seconds.
Ngannou's reach is 83". Tyson's reach is 71". So with that height, that reach, that knockout power, Tyson is going to have to worry at least a little about Ngannou, right? Now imagine, how the fukk is he going to fight Ngannou when 6'4" Jon Jones with his enormous leg reach is kicking Tyson's legs out from under him, or straight kicking Tyson in the head? Tyson has never had to do kick defense in his life, and now he has to employ kick defense against an elite kicker AND fight an elite puncher simultaneously?
Even if Ngannou couldn't punch Tyson out, all he'd have to do is take him down, with Tyson having zero takedown defense AND being distracted by Jones kicking him, and then he'd finish Tyson on the ground who wouldn't be able to deliver knockout power from his back and would have two guys punching, kicking, elbowing him.
Meanwhile, have 6'0" 245lb Fedor take Wilder out. Fedor was a repeat world champion Sambo guy and elite Russian judo before becoming an MMA legend. Meanwhile Wilder has skinny-ass legs and has never once learned takedown defense. Fedor would take him down in seconds and the fight would be over.
Exactly what would Wilder's defense be against that? He's never faced anything like that in his entire fighting career. He's got super skinny-ass legs and is used to fighting with them way out in front where they're easy to reach. Even besides the grab, Fedor could do an inside trip, an outside trip, or any number of other techniques and he'd have Wilder on the ground in a flash.
The midget 6th guy in this scenario wouldn't even do anything. It's over.
I don't see any way of competing unless 2 of the guys who know kicks and takedowns are on your side. Even then it's gonna be tough but without that it's over in a flash.
