Pip all day, spot up 3/jumper, insane defense, take you in the post, off the dribble, lead the fast break, plus he had the mac on him like a regular Chi nikka :demonic:

Pippen takes this easily becuase of his defense, both were great offensive players but y'all are so offensive minded that you forget that being a PRIME DEFENSIVE PLAYER is where the game is won when comparing the two. Without Pippen guarding the top point guards during some of the Bulls playoff run, they wouldn't have forced the other teams to switch up their game plan and that's what usually throws off players is when they have to make changes. PIPPEN NO QUESTION!

Pippen did NOT beat cats off the dribble and was an average post player.

Come on man

see how you're too focused on OFFENSE?? he was still a phenomenal offensive player but his DEFENSE tho... yeah that's where he separates himself from all those comparisons

Clyde was the better statistical player, but Pippen could affect the game with his offense or defense, and it's kind of silly for people to say he wasn't a leader. Pippen was a great leader and def the leader of that team when Jordan left those couple of years.

Clyde and its not really close, we tend to overrate Pippen because of this need to prove Jordan had a lot of help or more help than people want to give him credit for while winning those championships

I agree with you except for the passer part. Ball handling, passing and defense is where Pippen has the edge. Where drexler struggled at times is his court vision in the halfcourt setting. Dude used to dribble with his heaad and eyes down on the ball unless he was in the open court.

But you're right about the offensive boards tho. Clyde would always find a way to sneak in and do damage on the offensive board.

I've always said Clyde's half court offensive game was nowhere near other great wing players. That's why he makes a better #2 then a #1
