This is all sorts of wrong. That Rockets team wasn't winning that second ship until the Clyde trade. As far as Pippen leading... :usure:
Pippen bested Jordan in Assist, Rebouds and Blocks and their best man to man defender

Saw them both, I'm taking Pippen, even though Clyde was a better leader and has a better resume. Those Portland teams centered around Drexler, and Houston didn't win a championship without him signing.

Clyde was an awesome athlete, but so was Pippen who was also one of the best dunkers at the time.

But the real argument: Clyde's offense, even though he was an underrated shooter, could score off the dribble at that time, and attacked the basket, compared to today's athletes was nothing special. Pippen's defense though would translate to today as well as his point-forward type of role. I'd even go as far to say a scorer, Pippen > Drexler in today's NBA.

Pippen could finish at the rim with power or finesse with either hand, was more fluid off the dribble, could score in the post, maneuvered better in traffic, hit open shots off the pass or dribble, could see passing lanes, and had defenders looking more off-balance.
