Ricky Starks is good but he benefits from being one of the few newer AEW talents who actually knows how to cut a promo and has charisma which inflates peoples opinion of him, he sometimes gives off miniature Rock vibes which depending on who u ask can be looked at as good or bad, I think he'll be successful long term but with their stacked roster I don't see AEW ever pulling the trigger on him to be THE GUY the way I could see that for a Montez Ford in WWE
Carmelo Hayes is great and he has everything u can ask for from an in ring and promo standpoint but he's very short and although I do think Melo will end up being a star especially with Vince gone, lowkey Trick Williams be outshining him on the mic and I could see Trick being more successful long term
Montez Ford checks off every box you would look for in a star to build around, is every bit as good of a promoer as the other two, puts on great matches, has the size and is already more known and established.. I could legit see him as the face of the company the same way his wife has been built to be, also he's the one who gave her most of her gimmick ideas back when she was a rookie still figuring wrestling out that she still uses to this day
So Montez is my answer
