I'd think it'd have to be someone who already won the IWGP title, since I don't see anyone who wins one of the American titles ever working a heavy enough schedule in Japan for NJPW to give them the top title. The only exception I could possibly see is Bryan Danielson since he just goes with whatever moves him.

And even though I don't see AJ leaving WWE, he already has the two titles that are more difficult to get all things considered so he should probably be an option.

BTW I know this is a question about the men but low key I think Sasha/Mercedes could actually be the first to do it.

I personally think the most likely are probably Moxley and Omega, Kenny just need a run in the WWE.
Danielson third cause he needs to win both the AEW and IWGP championship and it's not gonna happen soon plus he's probably close to retirement.

Jay White is the dark horse but it will take time cause he just signed with All Elite so he's not gonna be able to win the WWE championship before a few years.

I added AJ Styles to the poll cause I forgot about him but he got a solid case.
I put Lesnar too but it's probably not happening.

Moxley seems to be most likely.

He's already had the two American ones and he's already in locked into the lore of New Japan that'd lead to him becoming IWGP champ.

Of that list I'd have Omega #1 (if he goes to WWE he's guaranteed a title run), followed by Jay White (only 30 years old and already has Main Event experience in Japan). After that it gets murky.

This. Bryan should've already been AEW champion, and I don't see him going to NJ soon either.

I don't see anyone in that list completing that trifecta, to be honest.

I think Omega and AJ Styles have the best chance. If Omega decides to sign with WWE in the near future, there will be two world titles available (maybe 3) over there and that always gives more people a chance at a run at the top even if they aren't the biggest star.

AJ Styles seems to be staying in WWE until he retires but let's say there are roster cuts. He still has enough ability and talent left in the tank for an AEW run.

AJ styles seems like a Wwe lifer but he’d easily get the AEW belt if he made the jump
