Aren't you married? Why are you worried about what women think of you? Why don't you post on Asian forums if that's what you identify the most with? If someone told you, that you saw the world exactly as it is would that make you happy? Would your life be better? Have you looked into therapy?

I do post on the Asian forums. I'm not worried about what women think of me.

My life is quite fine, I can't really complain about anything really.

I just hear this "social construct" BS far too often and especially on Black Forums. If i go to Asian forums many people agree with me. If I go to the Race discussion forums even more people agree with me. On one of the Biggest "race' forums I have about 100 thanks or "daps" for every 1 post that i've made. Being a part of a consensus doesn't make me happy. I enjoy being a contrarian and arguing with the majority.

I remember seeing a metal comb on a hot stove-pilot, and I was really confused as to why anyone would use a comb from a stove. I don't think my mom ever gave my a real explanation about that. I never really understood what that was about until I saw the movie Crooklyn.

my mom's hair never grew past her shoulders and sometimes she wore wigs. This makes me think about my mom's face as she would comb my sisters very long and straight hair. She seemed very happy and always so involved in her hair. I wonder if there was something deeper to that?

I didn't pose those questions in my previous post because I complaining or feeling sorry for myself. I'm simply describing an empirical reality. this is A reality that can only be explained by one theory--that race is Biological concept.

My biology determined my race, my life, my life outcome. Just as it determined yours.

honestly, if threadstarter cut his hair shorter and got a fade or something I would easily see him as mixed black, he still does look it though, it just that his hair being so straight throws me off.

edit: looked throught the rest of this thread, and I must say the reason you can't connect with you family probably isn't because of you're race but because you don't connect with them culturally. You seem so apprehensive about embracing anything "black" because you don't identify as being black. if you let down your guard a bit and stopped being so sensitive to every race related thing, maybe you could connect with them a bit more. Oh, and you should get your head faded, and your moms was bad, she could get it.
