I’ve been thinking about this since I have a family who flipped to the right

One thing he is big on is not supporting any Chinese products or companies who get a bulk of their merchandise from China

At first I was indifferent about it , and did try to support mort American but recently had an epiphany.

As a blacc man in American, me nor my people owe white daddy any financial loyalty at all

Let's be real here , American companies moved manufacturing to China back in the late 70's to exploit the cheap labor , they then import the manufactured goods across the world & sell it at a premium . They've been making billions & Washington DC never gaf as long as their companies & products made money & was the dominant brand . They only gaf now because the Chinese are replacing American companies as the dominant brand . Should a negro gaf , no because we have no slice of that pie to eat & be prosperous. The Chinese are actually doing good by improving countries , roads , railroads , buses ,power plants / electrical infrastructures across the globe . Washington wants to keep other countries poor / banana republics while they rape it for all it's resources. The only thing we build are military bases to protect our interest abroad while we get cheap or free oil , copper , metals , bananas & whatever the fuk we want . Only in relation to quality and/or health. I don't want certain consumable products from China because I trust them even less to use ingredients that won't give me 32 flavors of cancer. And in terms of quality their standards are so low and the companies are held less accountable

Only hardcore cacs care about Made In America

Everyone else will buy no matter where as long as the price is right, and the quality is good. Japanese automakers is one of the best examples of this…basically captured huge parts of the American market with affordable cost and superior quality

I care about made in America or any country that has standards for that matter. And this isn't about Japan, who makes high quality products, not sure why you brought them up.

You don't know what type of product you are getting from China. I was looking for a 64oz stainless steel water bottle, can't find one because all are made in China. China is notorious for taking shortcuts and giving you a lower quality product. That's why raw honey from China is outlawed. shyt is cut with fake sugars and overly processed.

As long as the quality is good and the prices are reasonable, I, for one, do not care about making some phony-ass patriotic stance, and I'm sure most Black people would agree.

The only people who care are super duper cacs and Black people (among other ethnicities) tryna prance around with an all-American shtick to impress cacs of a particular ilk in certain circles.

Nearly everything from clothes, electronics, cars, toiletries, utensils, etc, named in the US is made or manufactured in China, among other countries. America doesn't have the capabilities to supply its nation with the number of goods to this extent that we receive from other countries, that's what a lot of uber-patriotic cacs, etc fail to understand.

The United States can't afford to go completely “Made in America”, it's just not sustainable. In certain fields, locally or small American companies, sure but not great enough to make up the difference in what we receive today from other countries. It's just a pipe dream sold to Middle America and small-town cacs who like to beat on their chest about being American to have something to believe in, but in reality, it's a farce.

Tell your family they are better off buying land and developing a farm. China practically touches everything. Products made in America most likely use products manufactured from China. Then you factor everything from food to medicine. Anyone who tries to ban products made in China from their home has a steep uphill battle.

but moving manufacturing overseas in the 70s is what caused black men to have the highest unemployment. It's one of the main reasons for poverty in the hood.

I try to buy American products to support our labor force. But so much shyt comes from China it’s impossible to boycott.

I’ll also pay a little more to support a smaller business when I need work done.
