Im not all for the system talk. What i see on my TV is that Purdy is better than Jones.
Jimmy has how many years in the league vs the kid? Jimmy cost much more as well.
Brock’s play in the playoffs crushes Jimmys playoff play.

Purdy is clearly much better, Jone's physical talent doesn't amount for much when you lack the IQ, intangibles and overall feel for the game. He's a good athlete cosplaying as a QB, nothing more
I read in that game Purdy was blitzed on 33 out of 39 of his dropbacks which is 84%, the highest on record for Next Gen Stats. He did quite well considering.

Purdy also can trust his o-line..By the time he gets paid and truly has to worry about doing more with less, he would have really developped as a QB.

But I respect him for playing the whole 60

Purdy is the better passer with better pocket awareness. Jones is the better athlete with the prototypical size and better arm strength. I think Jones has the better tools than Purdy but Purdy is more productive imo. I’ll have to go with Purdy.
