Josh had a shytty week 1, alot of top players did. But look at where them 2 are at right now and it aint even close
The crazy thing about Daniel Jones is he SHOULD be a good QB. He’s actually CRAZY accurate when he has a clean pocket. Especially deep passes, he throws some of the best in the league (when he has time).
It’s just that the Giants almost never have a clean pocket and when Jones is forced to think he fukks up 90% of the time.

Both completely average QBs but Jones has better physical tools.
Paying either of them 40mil+/yr is egregious though and lucky for the 49ers they don't have to do that for now

Purdy has shown nothing that should suggest he would do any better on that Giants team behind that OL.
It will be telling when the Niners have to pay Purdy. Is he worth 45 mil a year? Because if he’s as good as everyone is suggesting then that will probably be the going rate for good QBs

I have no problem if people want to question Purdy but it looks to me like some of you haven't watched a single minute of Purdy this year. It has not been all dump offs to the YAC receivers especially last week. Go watch the film. Purdy was crazy accurate last week.
One more thing, if you think Daniel Jones can do what Purdy has done in this Niners offense then you must think Daniel Jones is a far better QB than Jimmy G?

Daniel jones always been a 7 on 7 qb all of his career. He doesnt feel the pressure, he doesnt feel the pocket, he doesnt feel the blitz, dude cant read the fukking field. He doesnt understand what the plays are supposed to do. He cant read or look off defenders to save his life, in fact hes just anxious to find an open dude and throw. There's more than that to quarterbacking

Look at this trash ass qb at 2:42. This is a SIX YEAR VET NOT BEING ABLE TO EXECUTE THE SIMPLEST COVER 2 BEATER IN FOOTBALL there possible is - a slot out+go against a boundary corner who is FACING him in zone with inside leverage.
Purdy is literally the opposite. Dude sees the field very well and reads defenses and manipulates them with his eyes to create edges because he knows what the play is supposed to be and what leverages the defenses have. Purdy adjusts against blitzes and can throw darts as well as anticipation throws with pressure all up in his face.
What Purdy lacks is arm talent and long speed. Those are the only things Jones got on Purdy. They aren't insignificant, but Jones is a trash QB considering his talent.
Once again, dont compare these two. Jones is a thrower, not a QB, after six years in the league. Purdy is an actual QB who is quick and decisive with his throws because he's in complete control.
