Anyway, I think Goff is clearly #5. He's got the best history of any of the other QBs outside the Big 4, and he's still performing as well as anyone outside of those 4. So he's 2 for 2 in my book, easily #5...

There's pretty much no career counting stat or advanced stat that places Goff above Purdy and before anyone says anything I don't think Purdy is elite or top 5 either. I just don't think there is a clear #5

But that wouldn't have been said last year or even early this year, I don't think it's clear cut at all

only reason it wouldn’t be said then because …it’s Goff and we people have a hard time in general believing players can improve so much after being discarded the way he was

Then this year he upped the level and it’s kind of undeniable.

He had a game with zero incompletions and damn near 300 yards.

If Pat did that we know what it would’ve looked like in the media

I agree he's leveled up but if he somehow shyts the bed in the playoffs the discourse will go right back to what it was.

If Mahomes, Allen or Lamar fukk up in the playoffs nothing will change.... they'll still be who they are.

Nah if the lions don’t win it nobody is gonna be on Goff or Lions tbh.

Half their team is dead .

They gonna have to put up 35+ each game to win

But their offense is still loaded so he's going to be expected to put up a lot of points. I agree the defense or The Gambler could cost them

Stafford. He does a lot for that offense.

Herbert overrated tbh. For these upcoming playoffs, I'd take Goff and Baker over him, probably Darnold too. Herbert only knows one way to throw the ball. He could be throwing a 5 yard swing route and he guns it like the receiver is 50 yards away. I think I heard Romo say he's the QB with the most batted passes. He doesn't put enough arc on his throws, nothing but fastballs.
