If Del Rio is a main eventer than Cody definitely has that potential too. When Cody had the mask gimmick he was over and the crowd responded to him. The only reason Alberto gets any reaction is because of Ricardo.

Del Rio's a main eventer because he keeps getting shoved down our throats. Really good wrestler and I like him, but he's never been as over as his push. Bad example, honestly.

Cody's mask gimmick was great (and if they had shot him up the ladder immediately after the gimmick changeover, he might've had a chance at convincing me. I was really into it around WrestleMania), but even then, the in-ring was never up to par for me (the middle of his matches tend to be completely lifeless). And since he lost the mask gimmick, he's just been existing in the mid-card and hasn't shown much that convinces me that he can hang in the ME, character or work wise. He's great when he's playing off of Sandow, though. If there was a legit tag division, they could've been great heels for years.

With all of that said, it would not surprise me AT ALL if Cody won. They're running the storyline with the Colter group, as well as a losing streak storyline with him. There might be something in mind for him.

Bruh I wasn't a fan of Cody (and still ain't the biggest fan) for a while but when he had that mask shyt going on he was ready for a title run and unlike Del Rio he was over on his own and it wouldn't have been forced. That's the reason why I made that comparison. Cuz it seems like Vince pushes who he wants (sumtimes cuz of demographics) even if they aren't over but then you got guys like Cody Sandow Cesaro and Ryder who are actually over and can't get a push to save their life.

This is a tough call. Out of the guys in the match the E has either dropped the ball or I don't give a shyt. Ceasaro, Cody, and Barrage all had their chances thrown in the bushes. Swagger needs to go away again, and It's not a good time for Ambrose. Tom Green I mean Sandow isn't credible enough in my book. I got money on WB though.
