Who did I say that about? Only Tony Parker and kind of Dragic.
Dragic I included next to curry as one of the best.

The difference between Parker and Curry is the Warriors defensive scheme is predicated on switchin a lot of initial actions of the opposing team, thereby forcing the opposing team into trying to score through isolations.
Curry has defended 119 isolations this year. That's more than any other PG and 5th highest in the entire league. Yet he only allows .66 points per possession on his isolations which is 8th among players who have defended at least 60 isolations this year.

The spurs scheme has a lot of help D but not as much switching. They do a great job of communicating and tagging. Which allows Parker to be in great position to recover and defend his man.
Not to mention they have one of the best coaching staffs in the league and are always prepared as far as scouting.
For comparison, Parker has defended just 43 isolations and has allowed .98 points per possession. Which is pretty bad, although that is a small sample size.

Nothing in what you posted refutes that Curry gets stuck on weak offensive players. Just that those same weak offensive players have no problem taking him on by themselves:mjlol:

What weak offensive players. The "he doesn't guard opposing PGs" thing is a myth.
Sure the warriors switch a lot but last night for example he switched a lot between wall and Beal. Neither is a weak offensive player.
The prob curry has defensively is bigger, stronger Guys abuse him. Like in the finals, Kyrie/Bron PnR. Warriors were terrified of switching steph on Bron so they switched their scheme. But once again you can say that about 99% of PGs in the league. And most of the ones that you can't say that about make a bunch of mental mistakes every game (guys like Wall, Russ and Mudiay) so I wouldnt call them very good defensively.
The only guys who play better D and are stronger, more athletic than Curry are guys like Marcus Smart.
But smart is so horrible on offense that Stevens can't give him big minutes and we mostly see him guarding back ups.
Also Smart still makes a lot of dumb mistakes too, as this only his 2nd year. I've seen him miss plenty rotations and take bad angles on screens, as well as having communication problems at times. Curry almost never messes up on that stuff. He is a top notch team defender, usually highly focused and possessing high iq

I looked some more into stats. Stats wise Curry, Dragic and Lowry seem to be the top 3 and I honestly tend to agree with that.
The warriors allow 10 less points per 100 possession with Curry than w/o. Some(ALOT) of that has to do with Draymond and the starting line up but that's a HUGE number.

I had a feeling this would turn into another Steph Curry lovefest.
