Vince ain't no damn Hall of Famer. Stop it

Only reason the Raptors made noise in 01' because the east was historically bad at that point

The D (where it's so cold)
he doesnt either

because he doesnt

I was watching Dennis Scott do a post game interview with Jamison and they were talking about the 20K milestone so I just assumed he had it, but if healthy he will get it and THEN he will be the most forgettable 20k scorer in NBA history.

Personally, I can't wait for him to get it so just so I can forget his great career achievement.

It ain't great either and Vince had great years mixed in with his not bad years. If Tawn had consistent at higher level then we can have a discussion.

So in your opinion 8 All-Star years > 14 borderline All-Star years?

Vince showed us a lot but he disappointed a lot then he fell off. Almost like a flash in the pan.

Who would you rather have on your team right now?

Keep in mind, I'm torn, I'm not trying to sway you one way or the other.

Vince for the simple fact that Antawn rarely really weighed on games despite his nice stats.

Knicks, Yankees, Giants and The BX
VC had huge expectations on him while Jamison pretty much fell under the radar really quickly outta the gate and never really had expectations placed on him. It's easy to cruise under those circumstances.

Vince was one of the best players in the league for a few years there and followed it up with years of being consistently good. Antawn never went beyond just being good and never was a guy you would want to try to build around. I'll take 5 years or so of a guy being elite followed by 5 or 6 more years of a guy being good over a whole career of a guy being good and never being elite.

Fair enough. Ultimately, that is the question. You want 26 ppg for x amount of years or 20 ppg for 2x amount of years? :manny:

It should also be noted that no one ever successfully built anything around Vince (thanks T-Mac).

True but he was the guy on a team that made the playoffs a couple times and was a jumper away from taking AI's spot in 01. The Raptors have never successfully built anything and that is where Vince spent his best years.

I'd give a slight edge to VC.

But low key, I was kinda hoping Tawn would've come back to the Wiz. I know he had ties to the NY/Dray/:why: error, and obviously the Gil era before that, but he'd have fit right in w/this current solid-citizen locker room. And there is a need @ PF, if not a glaring one anymore. What can I say, I've always liked the dude (pause). Besides, who can be mad at him for going to LA?

That said...
