Chris Murphy?
so we're about 8 months from someone having to declare

lets be honest with each other. biden is not a sustainable pick, so whats the movement

my ticket is chris murphy/ruben gallego :salute:

Chris Murphy :hhh: is Tim Kaine.... without the charisma :lolbron:

Dems need to throw caution to the wind, they are underdogs in 2024.

Sherrod Brown :mjcry:
Michelle Obama :yeshrug:

JB Pritzker....I know I know but TBH he has actually done an amazing job in Illinois. Plus he has enough money to flood the zone.

Myself and my own.
The biggest issue is, of course, electability vs. credibility, that is, who has a record of actually doing something "not ass backwards" as far as policy goes. Moreover, someone who actually understands optics, since that seriously seems to be both Biden's and Harris' main weakness. Pretty funny how low the bar is far policy goes though. Thanks Trump. :francis:

No preference at this point, but not Joe or Kamala. Wouldn't mind Warren if she was a bit younger.

Sherrod Brown or Julian Castro might be cool too. I always liked Inslee but I don't think he has the charisma. Otherwise I say see who's popular in a year. :yeshrug:

Don't think they have the "right" visibility but Julian Castro and Cory Booker were two people from the last cycle who lowkey had some decent policies but got lost in the mix

Warren needs to VP for Ayanna Pressley and let's get a MA ticket

If Pete had a more revered cabinet appointment, I'd see the Dems trotting him out. He's def someone I see them backing in 2028

Honestly, we're stuck with Biden, during the 2020 cycle, I really felt Biden was a placeholder and that someone more left would have a shot in 2024, but we feel even further from moving left now than in 2020.

I honestly don't care tho, this party has proven they're not about getting shyt done so I could give AF who wins, hope it's a dem so Thomas can be replaced by a liberal SCOTUS pick, otherwise, fukk em.

People were scared Trump would get re-elected (which he almost did) so Biden was just the "safe" pick (being a moderate older white guy) and nothing more. Nobody was really trying to take a risk in 2020.

But at this point Biden's presidency has been basically ruined by Manchin and Sinema, not to mention inflation/gas prices, so he's a liability even if it's not really his fault. Not to mention he's old, so hopefully he just doesn't run again.

I don't think it's fair to blame the entire Dem party for Manchinema though. That said they really need someone better than Schumer to vet candidates.

breh, the dems been falling over themselves hard since trump - the covid aid packages, rent relief, small biz loans, BBB and infrastructure plans, finger-pointing over "too liberal" messaging, lack of ruling firmly with a majority - filibuster, student loans, etc. never mind all these old dem sentors basically inside trading and being on corporate payrolls. stop making excuses for this party, they don't play anywhere near as hard as republicans and never take the party line the way rethugs do. fukk this party and the entire way our 3 branches of government are set up, our setup does not work for modern america
