50 for the wanting to beef with everybody and making it seem about it all about who has the most cash not the most skill

Jay seem like he respects the game but the respect the paper more

Kayne great producer but he seem to care about what white people think then what black people think

And the record labels only cared about what woman and what teenagers thought about hip hop and not the fans

Its not destroyed, but if I will play along and say

:why:

so many good artists out right now theres no way u can say its dead.

this isnt 2008 anymore

For those who don't know, 2008 was an era where one hit wonders ran the radio. Outside of Wayne and the vets, no good artists could have broke through and everything had that 808s southern sound with a wack dance to make a hit. No J Cole, No Kendrick, no Meek Millz, just a bunch of random no name niccas that made one hit and disappeared entirely.

Despite the YMCMB era with the pop-ness along the techno shyt on Hip Hop, this is one of the better eras of Hip Hop post 2000.

No one individual killed hip hop. its been a collective of individuals stinking it up with they corny ass sh!t. For me the decline of hip hop came with the murders of pac and big. There was some good years after that but, creativity and originality declined tremendously.

lotta people say 50, but let's be honest. with his beefing with any and everything that moved and focus on money and sales 50 wasnt doing nothing but filling the true Alpha Male role that was left open when Pac died.

I really do think that the downward spiral of non-dumb hip hop in the mainstream came about due to the triple thread of Lil Jon, Yin Yang Twinz and Dem Franchise Boyz.

THEN blame Soulja Boy.
