EXACTLY!!

Now I love black men (especially dark skin my skin tone or darker) yet I've actually been hit on way more by non black men in my life than by black men. I'm not saying this to raise my self esteem or to put down anyone else but if you're attractive, regardless of skin tone, you'll get hit on by many races of men. Hell Arab/Indian and Eastern European men love me for some odd reason .

Ok, but I've heard other black women talk about how their black mommas, friends, female family members etc would bring up their dark complexion in a negative way when they were growing up usually referencing them as being the exception to the norm.

I personally think the strongest resentment for dark skinned women comes from other black women.
