In my experience in talking with the average non-black male (Whites, Middle Easterners, Indians, Latinos etc)...when the issue does come up, most of em do not find dark skinned black women attractive.

For the most part, the only type of black women that they will date are the ones who basically look like their own or as close to the protoypical white woman (i.e. skinny, big boobs, small butt, smaller facial features, straight hair, very light complexion).

The few that do date them or have any type of preference for them are really a needle in a haystack. I think it's so rare that in some strange way it gets noticed a lot more and even appears to be somewhat brave and heroic in the eyes of other dark skinned black women.

From what I've observed, black women will willfully ignore the 99.9% of non-black males that wouldn't date em, but are very vocal of hyping up that .1% that will.

I mean, who really cares? If you date/marry someone outside the black race then you have no space to talk or complain about colorism because you're pretty much perpetuating it by going to the source. At the same time, you can't absolve yourself of perpetuating colorism within the black community if you're shytting on dark skin folk.
Also, yeah I have seen a lot of white men with dark skin natural haired chicks (some of them even tried to make a pass at me ) but imo its more like a fetish than any appreciation. You really can't put that on black men.

We are all men and life indicates that men generally think alike. And besides, science says we know what we're talking about (and you do not). The blondes and brunette analogy is not analogous to light skin/dark skin. Blonde and brunettes generally have the same features, except one has lighter hair. The blondes are considered more attractive but the gulf between them is lesser as a function of how similar they are.

If black men "bash dark skin girls", then cacs think they're lower than than insects, and not even worth talking about (which is actually the case).
