I agree with @A Woman's Opinion that White men generally tend to treat shades/textures of Black equally from my observation, and are less colorstruck than African and AA men. I've worked in Europe and seen men date/marry Senegalese, Cameroon women in France like it was nothing. Even the pervs patronized Black/Latin American prostitutes over Eastern European immigrants(very cheap) or locals. Used to buy African products from Ghanian lady whose husband was a German engineer. She spent time in the states and hated it. Her daughter models, is brown and looks Senegalese, dates older rich Europeans. Befriended this one sister was half Danish and AA(product of an absentee Black service member and a single mother from Denmark) she married a Swiss lawyer who approached her on a cruise. Another woman, dark brown from St Kitts and married an organic farmer.

Of course the women were attractive, fit and if heavier had pretty faces(as if being overweight and or dark is death sentence to loneliness). Also, they were mostly educated or well traveled. The African and AA men I encountered, wifed anything White off the street.
Many white people are infactuated with dark skin and at the way that Blacks(healthy ones) age. AA men seem to be the most colorstruck under the guise of being indiscriminate daters. One can easily compare Black Mens Magazine centerfolds to the Ebony Man/Essence mags.

The dynamics between black men and black women are comparable to the dynamics of an abusive relationship in my opinion.Everything these men are saying in this thread are the same responses that abusive men say to abused women.

It starts early in childhood. They favor the lighter skinned black girls, and bully dark skinned black girls mercilessly. There are dark skinned girls who have to go to counseling for this, and experience severe social anxiety whenever they are around black men/boys for this reason. I have witnessed it. My BFF is a dark skinned black girl. She went through it! No one gets made fun of more by little black boys that dark girls and fat girls.


I'm brown skinned. I don't have a dog in this fight. I have no reason to lie about what I have seen. I think black men need to start taking SOME accountability for this.

I have gone to predominately black schools most of my life. From Pre-K to 12th grade. I can't recall a single incident in which a black girl was openly teased just for being dark skinned. Not ONE incident comes to mind. But I can recall several instances where black boys were teased for their dark skin, by black girls AND other black boys. There was this one really dark skinned kid in my 4th grade class and the other kids would call him crispy. There were dark skinned girls too. But nobody messed with them like that.

I'm talking about cops assaulting black women as an example for anti-black enmity--and you bring up domestic abuse as though the two ideals have anything to do with each other. It's the same when cacs talk about black-on-black crime whenever blacks bring discrimination. Non-black enmity resulted in black slavery and genocide. It underlines unemployment and discrimination against blacks. Domestic violence among blacks or any other group is, for all intents and purposes, irrelevant.

The Russians, a white nation, nominally have a higher domestic abuse rate than black Carribean countries. Russia is more powerful than all Carribean countries combined. Black women would succeed in a black Russia in ways they have never succeeded in white anywhere. Nobody values black women the way they should but black men definitely desire you more on average than non-black men do.
