Bridges contract and production are solid. I doubt the Nets pay his uber to MSG.
Agreed. He’s the best piece right now. They’d trade DFS and Cam Johnson first.Bridges contract and production are solid. I doubt the Nets pay his uber to MSG.

NBA’s Extension Rules Could Force Toronto Raptors To Consider Trading O.G. Anunoby
As they ponder a larger-scale shakeup, the Raptors need to consider preemptively trading Anunoby before he's able to become a free agent thanks to the NBA's extension rules.www.forbes.com
He’s gonna want Mikal Bridges money though. I guess we can do a sign and trade?
Why is a Sign and Trade option not available because he’s unrestricted? KD did it when he left GS. Or are you saying it’s just less likely.I was hoping he'd be RFA, because then sign and trade options open up. To sign him as a UFA, they'll need to dump a lot of salary, and they'd have to do it quickly so that they have time to negotiates with their own renewal eligible players/RFA's (Hart, IQ, and Obi). The only good thing would be that they can go over the cap for their RFAs.
It just complicates things. OG doesn’t have to settle for a team who can give Toronto a nice trade package. He can bolt to anyone with cap space. I assume the Knicks would try what they did this off-season, but I’m not sure how feasible it is with the salaries on the books. Sending out matching contracts would probably be easier, because suddenly fournier’s expiring is a neutral tool for matching salaries instead of a contract we need to dump. Why is a Sign and Trade option not available because he’s unrestricted? Another all star slot opening up?
True. Our biggest threats with Cap Space are the Kings and the Pacers (he went to college in Indiana too if that means anything). Everyone else is trash or a bad fit. He’s really into fashion so maybe that could give us the edge? I’m not worried about the package, Fournier and 2 seconds should get it done since they don’t want to lose him for nothing. It just complicates things. Unrestricted, I don’t know if that would affect his ability to be S&TWhen OG opts out, does he become restricted or UFA? Bc I feel like the Knicks’ll revisit that in the offseason
The main thing complicating all of this is he is Klutch sports and they will not steer him willingly to NYIt just complicates things.
