Of all the names I hear I'd prefer Gordon or Burks. I don't want to give up a 1st for EG.....but they gotta bunch and ain't doing shyt with em. Give a future pick that will be in the 20s. Big deal.

If I'm not mistaken, we can't trade for Burks back until next season. I think I'd prefer Crowder or Hart above the rest of the names we've been linked to. I like Beasley over Gordon, especially if that EG asking price is really a first. I'm curious about what else happens. They're trying to do right by Rose and Fournier apparently, Cam to Dallas would net a second-rounder at least, and they've inquired about so many guys...I assume something will happen, but it's tough to guess which rumor will end up working out.

The Rockets are sniffing some major glue if they think Gordon is going to net them a first round pick.

I'm always surprised at how low Anthony Black gets mocked. It gives me hope that he might actually slip to our range. My guess is that Howard, Lewis, and Black all get taken before we act unless Rose trades up. Kris Murray and Noah Clowney are the guys I think could slip even past our slots and have sneaky upside. Especially Clowney, who manages to pop even though Miller is stealing all the attention.

Jones and Jackson are a pair of names I've got marked to watch closely some time soon. I'll add Jalen Wilson and Jordan Walsh to my list for checking out.

I agree with you on Bullock. He feels like one of those safe moves that Rose's FO has been prone to make. It won't cost much of anything and may bring back an asset. They get a known commodity, and they'll have all the flexibility to make a bigger move if something makes sense. The asking prices right now sound insane...Toronto wants a Dejounte Murray type deal for OG, San Antonio is asking for two firsts for Poeltl. A first for Eric Gordon is a stretch too. I think the FO will want to make a move for a Crowder or similar vet, but I'd bet Bullock is a consolation prize they'll be happy to take regardless of the fanfare.
I agree with you on Jett and Black. I think they go ahead of the Knicks late teens/twenties picks but they might all be in move up range. This draft is deep so teams may be looking to move back.

Maxwell Lewis is going to have to kill the combine to not be in the Knicks range. He looks like a NBA player in a foreign league in his games. He’s 6’7 but also so much bigger than the majority of the comp he is playing against.

I'd prefer Beasley too I just think EG will be the easier get. Beasley name is ringing crazy right now and his GM will want a nice haul.
I'm just not comfortable with Deuce right now as the backup PG. I guess my guy Rose is done done. :sadcam:

I'll take that anti-mid major bias gm's have and run with it if we can get him around 20. I slept on him til he hung 20 points on Gonzaga. But I have a feeling his tape and workouts will put him at or around the lottery. He has my favorite stepback footwork and mechanics of anyone I've watched so far and looks like a legit three-level scorer with the right development.

Yeah, unfortunately, Rose is done. The latest is that they're just trying to find a good landing spot for him. One intriguing rumor is that the Knicks are looking at Caruso. He makes sense as a replacement for McBride who does a lot of the same things but has more polish. Dude has "Thibodeau guy" written all over him.

That game had a lot of scouts at it, but I still think he will need to kill it at the Combine and play (and do well) in the Combine scrimmage game to go in the lottery. He looks like a man going against boys most games and while highly skilled he has to do that shyt against someone else NBA bound.

I do think he is a first round pick though, he should be on the Knicks radar.

:manny: Meh on Reggie but something has to be done about Deuce McBride and those minutes. Like that Fred Katz article says he’s 330 out of 332 in efficiency.

He should be developing in the G-league not getting 14 minutes a game.

Yeah deuce should legit be in the g league, it’s brick after brick with him :scust:

Effort is good and all but you still gotta provide something on offense
