Sure they could it's early.

The issue is does anyone think this team is better than the team that went 4-1 last time they went to the playoffs? There are ways they could try to improve but winning in the short or long term is never the goal.

WTF is leon rose “fiercely loyal” to a coach who hasn't even won a playoff series with this team?
That means it'll take an act of God for him to get fired bro. I don't know how this FO doesn't see the major issues with the coaching & Randle. It seems like they're burying their heads in the sand hoping it'll fix itself so they don't have to make any drastic moves

This front office reeks of nepotism and we haven't really seen any benefits from it outside of the Brunson signing.
When you consider they had to move draft pick #11 to do it it’s at best a neutral move. They didn’t get a discount, they got a “I’ll ignore the red flags to make this move”.

I still think that move was solid. Trading 13 to dump Kemba is the tougher pill to swallow. Not because of Duren, but because if I'd known AJ Griffin's medicals were fine, then I'd have been all over that selection. The only reason I could explain him dropping out of the top-10 was that his medicals had to have serious red flags. But he seems just fine so far, and he looks as promising as everyone thought when he was a top-8 prospect.

Moving 11 for 3 future picks (with good chances to convey in the next couple of seasons), and to sign Brunson at that contract value (27 million now, but declining to 25 mil for the last two years) is a positive move to me.
