need to just get jalen brunson to the all star game, sit him out in the second half of the season, trade randle, and just bottom out for top end talent.
we literally had to play mitch the most minutes he's played all year cause we're at a length and athleticism deficit. cam had to play a ton off a groin too for that SAME reason.
our other bigs have athleticism and no length or length and no athleticism.
even when they took ja out the game they were more physical, taller and more athletic than us.
we dont play a game conducive to succeeding in the modern nba nor do we have very many modern switchable players. not even getting to the lack of shooting.
leon rose is a moron.
they didnt even have bane

The problem with Cam is in the past he'll give you a game like this, and then follow it up with a week or two of invisibility.

He started to be a bit more consistent before he got hurt, hopefully he keeps it going

His defensive consistency has helped him stay useful even during the invisible spells. He's our only option for defending wings that are too big for Grimes. I'd love for the Knicks to find a taker for Randle and run a small-ball line-up with RJ or Cam as the four. They wouldn't always get away with it, but it could work against a lot of rotations.
Brunson/Grimes/Cam/RJ/Mitch

and then switch Obi in seamlessly against bigger groups.

Yea they would get killed on the glass but I'm almost ok with that to improve closeout speed and PnR defense . There was a play right before the half where Julius and I forget who were on a switch, and Randle just leaves the point of attack and starts running around like a fukkin crackhead. The guy he leaves ends up hitting an open 3 to end the half :beli:

He has two or three plays a game where he pretends to rotate and doesn't guard anyone. That's to go with two or three plays where he miscommunicates on a rotation and winds up guarding the same player as a teammate (leaving someone else open). And those don't include the times where he's late getting back on transition D.

The sad part is I think he's improved from earlier in the year when he'd do all that stuff even more often.

How is Cam any different from JR or Anthony Randolph is what I wanna know. Inconsistent as fukk. And it’s a contract year?

Big red flags are waving.

I remember that play because I started yelling at Randle like he could hear me from my couch lol. He's a big part of the reason teams get open looks on 3's

Gott Damn does Dallas stay on the Knicks dikk!

:mjlol:

How many former knicks are they trying to sign? I hear they are going to sign Tina Cervasio as a sideline reporter next....

:mjlol:

Gimme that Mavs pick around 10 where we can maybe get Anthony Black (jumbo playmaker) or Jarace Walker (monster-sized forward) and still take a flier on a sophomore like this FO loves to do...Emoni Bates or Terquavian Smith types depending on what shakes out with trades and all.

He’s playing within himself in a role that I wish RJ did more. He’s not really forcing shots like he was at the beginning of the season.
