I don't really disagree. He signed the big deal, and the Thunder don't really need to trade him (they're probably a lottery team regardless). But my typical belief is that where there's smoke, there's fire. It might be wishful thinking, but when execs start circling a situation I tend to wonder if there's something we don't know. Sometimes it's nothing, sometimes it's something. Beal to Boston had a lot of hype and was a bust. But then Mitchell to New York turned out real.
It's always 50/50 to me.
I fukking hate that everyone is right about Knick fans but my patience is wearing thin…
I know you ain’t talking about LinThey had a real PG until Melo got jealous and made the coach bench him.

He seems to like playing on the WestYea, he don’t deserve to be in this situation we should find him a better team.
I'm only comparing the rumors and whispers from insiders. The situations are definitely different, and Shai is carrying that squad right now at a level where they'd probably only trade him for another Paul George return (aka waaaaay too much for any single player unless it's maybe Giannis or Luka). The Mitchell situation was a bit different because Mitchell was never Ainge's guy. Ainge came in, saw a team that had hit a low ceiling with two players on massive contracts and decided to start all over. OKC is still trending up as a team.
You can’t trade him he is a poison pill. Plus what value is he building with his current play. It was a perfect time to tryOnly logical reason they are featuring him to trade him.
Cleveland's got a nice winning streak to look forward to, but for perspective they're a half-game ahead of the Knicks. The Hawks are a game ahead. Those squads are better by a comfortable margin, so no cap here. But this team isn't so far away from their level that a nice trade couldn't help close the gap.
We're 15 games into the season and the Knicks have kept their head above water which isn't the worst thing in the world. If a star shakes loose at the trade deadline, this team has depth to make a nice package while keeping a competitive rotation. They have one too many wings, one too many C's, and two PF's that need minutes.
Rose won't tank (which I'd still kinda prefer), but if the asset hording turns into a star at the trade deadline or this coming offseason, then I think Rose's tenure could wind up being a legit success.

That was a fun game. Randle was great.
IQ's defense on the last play
just watched a replay of the game. Man Quickley was in Murray's ass n/h on that last possession.
