fukk all the bickering. I’m perfectly content rooting for this exact roster next year. It’s gonna be better than last years team just off the strength that everyone’s young, at or below their peak and will improve. Plus we have continuity up and down the organization, one of the real keys to success in this league. All we really need to do is get Fournier traded for a TPE and we’re good.
This wont age well
we are in no position to run it back 🤣

we need iq (and Obi smh) to be back up's for Randle and Brunson as da team is presently constucted. Randle is coming off surgery and we dont even have his replacement.

if he goes down for any amount of weeks, we are a play in team. Same goes for Brunson if we get rid of IQ.

Begley's saying that IQ's extension will probably get done this offseason. So, that seems safe. I agree that they should find a legit back-up PF, in case Randle gets hurt. But the Knicks are bringing back 8/9 players from last season's rotation and the odd man out played the least mpg out of the 9. I think that's why they'll have a hard time convincing anyone decent to sign for the spot (I'd have loved to get Derrick Jones Jr).

My guess is they're assuming Fournier's expiring could get them a spot-starter PF if Randle were to go down...that or Taj Gibson on speed-dial :sadcam:

He's the definition of empty stats. His numbers doesn't translate to wins. Defensively he's trash also, so thibs would never play him.

I don’t know if you guys care about 2K ratings but the Knicks 2K 24 ratings are out

-Julius Randle rating is (87) with a Playmaking 3-Level Scorer build (Plus 3 from last year)

-Jalen Brunson rating is (87) with a offensive force build (Plus 5 from last year)

-RJ Barrett rating is (82) with a two-way slashing point forward build (minus 2 from last year

-Immanuel Quickley is (82) with a offensive force build (Plus 4 from last year)

-Mitchell Robinson is (80) with a defensive anchor build (Plus 2 from last year)

The rest are here
