For the better part of 20 seasons he was one of the better statistical players in the game. Melo tends to get overrated and had his weaknesses but at his peak he was a legitimate All-NBA level player.

Again K-Mart Jr. got traded for two second rounders as well who is younger and has actually played and produced more than Obi and is of a similar archetype what makes you think Obi is worth more?
