If all the Knicks wind up with for Obi Toppin and Fournier's expiring is some second round picks and trash ass Cam Payne I'm completely over this FO

Low key what have they really done besides hire Thibs and punt most of their drafts

Randle, Mitch, RJ - (Mills/Perry)
Brunson (Brunson sr)
Hart, Divincenzo (Brunson)

Take away these and you’re left with this

IQ,Grimes,Sims, McBride (Rose)
Hartenstein, Fournier,
Kemba, Drose, bullock
Reddish, Toppin, Payton

I’m on my last legs with them

The benefit of this wouldn’t be Cameron Payne it would be the 19 million dollar trade exemption given by trading Fournier. The Knicks have to trade him or that exemption goes away. That’s what the Knicks really want

At what point do we acknowledge that that no many how many "valuable assets" this team stockpiles, we're not actually doing anything with them? This is the the front offices 4th off season and what have we done with these assets we've accumulated? Trade back and out of the draft?

For all of this asset accumulation, the best thing we've done is trade our own pick for Josh Hart and move our own assets around to clear up space for Brunson and resign our own players.

If the best we can get from trading a former top 10 pick and an expiring $19 million dollar contract is a TPE to create space for a hypothetical impact player, that's a problem.

This front office has doubled down on being cautious and making prudent decisions and 4 seasons later, the fan base is still asked to be patient because we're not the dumpster fire we were before and have an identity, but we're 2 years out from all the can kicking coming back to bite us in the ass when we have to really start paying up.

If this TPE they're allegedly angling doesn't turn into anything, this front office and what is looking closer and closer to a 10 year plan every day needs to be called into question at a bare minimum, let the fukk go at worst.

Quickley and Robinson are near the 85th percentile of offense and defense in the league…true impact pieces on our roster who should be prioritized over the bum Barrett but likely aren’t…

In other news our bigs get no fastbreak opportunities. I know Harty likes to throw the outlet and Robinson ends a lot of possessions with boards but would like to see more alleys and floor running :patrice:

Who’s first in points?

Ja for total points, he's 3rd in points averaged behind Ja and Zion.

This draft class has about 12-13 real rotational players and I'd say probably Cam Johnson is the only one that would have put up the same numbers or better with Barrett's minutes consistently, so that's pretty dope all things considered.

I played around with the comparisons in StatMuse but it blocked me out after a while, but Barrett averaged around 5-9 minutes more than most of his peers in the rotational players in that draft and maybe 5-6 more shots. He's put work in to have that ranking, even if I don't fukk with him like that.

That list confirms to me that we should've went after Porzingis.
