Jokes aside they are a really good defensive big away from being a problem in the Olympics. The guards, wings, and forwards as a collection is better than most teams will put out there. They just don’t have a proven big to rebound or defend the paint.
Though I legit could be wrong if Eddy’s game translates to FIBA, then they might have a legit chance to upset America. This year is going to be a test because I don’t think Wiggins will play in FIBA but you would add him to this team next summer.
If only he was 6'9.

I did some research on Charlie Brown and he might make the roster. D&3 who can slash, and move in transition, played USA basketball for the 3x3 team, played on the 2023 G league championship team, a good rebounder. He’s experience coming off the bench and being productive with limited minutes. He’s 6’7 with a 7’0 wingspan.
He screams a Thibs guy and I could see him making the roster and being the wing version of McBride and Sims as an insurance for an injury. The interesting thing being Thibs could still use either Brown, McBride, or Sims for 10-15 minutes a night depending on matchup.
They could then move Fournier in a deal and try to get seconds or a protected first for him as a cap space move.

The benefit of this wouldn’t be Cameron Payne it would be the 19 million dollar trade exemption given by trading Fournier. The Knicks have to trade him or that exemption goes away. That’s what the Knicks really want
