I say it over and over when it's brought up and I know kats probably get sick of it but zero fukks given. Might help a young lurker thinking about his next step. They always push trades as something folks with poor grades should go after when you're in high school. But the fact of the matter is this....if you go into the right trade in the right area you'll be killing the game. Some kats out here making mad and I mean mad money in trades and they don't even look the part...this society is very visual is why I mention that. They might have some beat up truck with a decent looking logo saying Pete's Plumbing and Construction and this b*stard is making 100k a year after taxes because he does such a good job and has a truckload of locked in customers. Sallie Mae doesn't even know this nikka is in existence. Life is not as cut and dry and guidance counselors make it seem.

This electrician foreman made 7400, and then 10k in back to back weeks. Granted he was doing a ton of overtime (their OT is double time too), but still


I know a laborer foreman who made over 140k last year. Another laborer made over 100k.

Man my wife been working in corporate America for years and is usually one of the few sistas in the office. Yet out of all the women who usually have the worst dating and married issues theu are usually white and non black women.

Man if I had a dollar every time my wife came home talking about a white coworker whose husband or boyfriend is cheating on her, beating her, throwing her out the house.....i would be rich.

One lady (wife coworker) husband would beat her all the time. So one day he throws her out the house with no clothes or money. My wife and I go to pick her up (she calls my wife from the gas station). We pick her up and put her in a hotel (that we paid for). My wife gives her some clothes to last her 3 days while she waits for her family to come from out of town to get her.

Do you know that two months later this crazy white lady that we helped went right back to her abusive husband.

I know nikkas joke about the IT thing but that's a "trade" alot of cats are coming up in as well. Know a few people who dropped out of college to do that and are doing well. Got a friend who just turned 21 and helped buy is mom a crib from that money, no degree as well. As a matter of fact once you factor in the tuition debt and 4+ years of no income, trades>>>> college unless you're getting an engineering or tech degree or trying to become a doctor or some shyt.

I'm finishing up my mechanical engineering degree and have been thinking about what to do with it. I'm taking a class on Mechanical Contracting and fukk it I'm thinking about just going the Project Management route [basically doing the hiring of those foreman and whatnot]. Might be stressfull though, you gotta manage these $10 million budgets and can't fukk it up
