They're shooting themselves in the foot with this shyt :coffee:
Those players should look into playing for other schools while they still have demand. Also, this should be an eye opener for young, black aspiring athletes. These white folks don't give a fukk about yall, you might as well be animals much like the ones in ancient roman coliseums...here to entertain and nothing more. Them wanting to pull their scholarships simply for taking a stand against racism shows full and well that they don't give a fukk about them as people, nor their education and livelihood. This is why black athletes and students nationwide should say fukk these predominately white colleges and head to HBCUs exclusively. College athletics for these white schools will go to shyt and their pockets will take a beating. :manny:

I'm surprised Black people don't have their own version of the NCAA and NBA... seeing as how we basically dominate Basketball.

Ummm they do... HBCU's breh. And it wasn't until bigger schools realized the caliber of athletes there that the talent waned. But let's not act like they get anywhere near the same perks as their white counterparts. Kids playing sports typically want 2 things, exposure and a springboard to the pros. HBCU's just aren't gonna get you there so why not take the path of least resistance :francis:

Are you really surprised? :comeon:

You do realize HBCUs play athletics within the NCAA, right? :patrice:

Best believe that balance of power would start to shift if all black athletes made it a point to attend HBCU's though :sas2:

Tough to speculate, they need money and facilities. Who's gonna be the group to suffer to help build that up for the next generation to enjoy?

I'm sorry, I must have missed something :wtf:

They're getting scholarships to play football. If they don't play football, then they don't get scholarships....where is the outrage :patrice:

Mizzou students can protest and get involved politically all they want...just not as football players. Ya'll are acting like playing a sport is equivalent to getting an education at that school. If the football program has rules against protesting, then don't fukking join the football team. The bill is not saying students can't protest.
Stop glorifying athletics.

You know much money that would entail? You can't build your own NBA or NCAA with Coli cash.

But that's all hbcu's compared to one school. But mizzou isn't necessarily a hotbed for talent either.

Yeah, I know it's a lot vs. 1, but it does disprove the idea that you can't get into the NFL from the SIAC/MEAC. NFL scouts are desperate, they're fukking everywhere. And if you blow out the combine, they''ll find your college tapes.
