this is gonna be embarrassing, this article sums it up nice

Brattin apparently thinks college athletes should shut up and play. This might be a semi-acceptable stance if they were employees working under a mutually agreed upon contract. But the problem is that the the leaders of the NCAA—to which the University of Missouri belongs—and the Southeastern Conference—to which the University of Missouri also belongs—have said multiple times in federal court and elsewhere that college athletes are not employees :heh: They are simply students who happen to play sports as a hobby. We can all have a hearty laugh at that notion, but a lot of money rides on that fallacy being believed by certain people. That's why the NCAA, the SEC and the individual universities can do nothing to an athlete's scholarship if that player sits in protest. It would put the lie to legal strategy employed by the NCAA, conferences and schools. And since that legal strategy is all about protecting their money from athletes who want a bigger cut of the revenues from football and men's basketball, they aren't about to abandon it now.

When I first heard about this bill I wasn't mad I just thought of everything you just posted. The NCAA right now should be mad as hell with this guy because if he gets his way and the bill passes that makes every athlete in Missouri under the NCAA umbrella an employee so the second it passes is the second the NCAA is dead.

I bet some boosters from the $EC get together and buy this guy off.

If this doesn't show people what it is with college athletics nothing will

As if we didn't know anyway, they just want your black ass there in their institutions based strictly off your entertainment value for them.

This bill summed up: "we're giving you people access to our colleges so you need shut up, entertain us, and take whatever we give you or get the fukk out"

What else can be said that hasn't already been said about them, they have been and will continue to draw clear lines in the sand. It's up to the individual to see it for what it is

It's not even about Mizz now, other white universities will start to draw up something along the lines of what Mizzo is trying to do.

The fire has been lit and them cacs are trying to stop it before the fire spreads.

Bruh there is no FOOTBALL program without FOOTBALL PLAYERS. And nobody is supporting a program with 12 Quaterbacks and punters on the field.
