We want good traits coupled with the ability to provide. What y’all miss is that women aren’t just thinking about ourselves. We are thinking about the children we have to give birth to and raise. What will they need to be competitive in the world when they get to school? Every single person I know with a child has their kid in private school. It isn’t a game out here. Talking about resources doesn’t mean that is the only thing a smart woman cares about, but it’s important if you actually want to have a comfortable household.

Yeah, everyone wants that good school and good safe neighborhood, but how many college grads making good money still living in poverty like that (outside of high COL areas like Manhattan or SF)? Any man knows, there are loopholes to wiggle through in the economy where everyone wants to be the same 4-5 professions and want their kids to be making white-collar lucrative money. The rat race is indeed overrated and overcrowded and the benefits of hard work is shrinking as each day gets by. A really smart man would live below his means with his higher-than-median income, invest in tangible resources, and make sure that his kids will grow up with a solid work ethic and work AROUND the rat race and not just forcing their kids to participate in it as the only way of a life above poverty.
