Is anyone here really surprised though? I've been saying this forever. They are out to slander and murder all black men. It's not enough that there is a legal genocide taking place in this country. Not enough that black women are insecure about their hair, and their skin. Not enough that the odds are already against us. They want to make us look as unnerving and unappealing as possible.

Its the continued propaganda before they attempt to completely annihilate us. At some point, our people need to ask themselves, who are we as a people that even though we are at the bottom of society and the world in terms of power that a group of leprous people that run the entire globe are hell bent on our destruction. I don't know what the solution to this is and I don't want to argue your point, because it's absolutely important, but...almost every single person who harasses me on the street is a person of color. The white boys grope me in bars, which is worse. But I've lived in NYC and currently have lived in Chicago for 5 years and I have never, one time, been catcalled by a caucasian man. I don't think this representation skews differently than my experience.

Again, white men have been more physically aggressive in close quarters and I have felt infinitely less safe around men of my own ethnicity many times. It's all the same sort of male entitlement, but in my experiences, it manifests differently. I think other women will have different experiences and I want to listen to their voices as well.

In an effort to appear racially inclusive,and to give the impression that some Black males are cosigning their Street harassment campaign,I Holla Back has a photoshopped picture of a Black man modeling their t-shirt on the official IHollaBack website. If you look at the illustration below,you can see they put the head of a Black man on the body of a white person,then darkened the skin.The photo on the bottom right is the original picture of the Black male model..
