Kids in shelters and orphanages need good parents. Doesn't matter the color. And if you can't acknowledge that you're dead wrong. Take a break from the internet and volunteer at a shelter and look in the eyes of those kids. I've seen 7 year old kids afraid of accepting anything - food, toys, clothes, etc - because they're still afraid their crackhead of meth head parents are going to beat them and steal it. Kids who can't talk and are 6 years old. Kids who have a nervous breakdown if you touch them because they were raped.

Throw color in the bushes. If a white family can provide a safe and loving house for these kids, more power to them. If a black family can provide a safe and loving house to a Hispanic kid, more power to them. etc.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm really surprised at the rational and thoughtful debate takin place in most of this thread. That doesn't happen much in TLR threads that tackle
world issues and race. Looks like this subforum could be turning a page.
