There's literally no way anyone here can answer that but isn't it possible that another family would have adopted her if this guy hadn't?

A child should go to the best foster parents available no matter what race they are, what many of us are saying is that Black children should be raised by Black parents, unfortunately that's not always an option.

Cacs adopting people of colour as their own kids should probably take some anti-racist/white privilege classes or some shyt. For him to say they've experienced racism before this but was primarily targeted towards the parents and not the child is pretty alarming.

This isn't a realistic option though, there are more families that are only keeping their children because there's no room for them to go anywhere else. Social workers are doing all they can the majority of the time to not take the children, i see so many shytty parents that keep their kids by default. This isn't direct at you but there's so much that can go wrong in a child's life that should racial identity is an afterthought. Hundreds of thousands of first world kids who are neglected and starving in our own backyards and people are worried about the color of the parents skin before the quality of their life...If these kids could come out only confused about their identity in terms of race that would be a miracle versus ptsd,addictions,abuse anger, physical and psychological damage 90% of these kids have. It's pretty naive and it just shines a light on how non involved people are about things they have the nerve to complain about. Besides in almost every state if a black child ends up with a white family it's most likely because NO ONE else was willing to take them.
Oh great lets get in an uproar over things we know already.. That there are racist cacs out there.

No one is saying that but based on the racial tension and the track record throughout history of white people "mentoring" or taking black kids under their wing, most of us are cynical about the whole situation.
This shyt hit me like a ton of bricks...this is what I would love to see more white people do to cacs
