I don't see much crossover for Haitian food. Like in the west Indian community here I don't really see Guyanese, Trini, bajans going out their way to buy or eat Haitian food. Everyone hits up their respective spots for the most part.

I've never had Haitian food in my life and I'm guyanese but that's just me. My mom loves the black rice. It looks weird to me

Most “weird” food actually turns out being the best.

I remember my Trini friend talking out loud about curry goat and the white people around us looked at her as if she was a criminal lol.

Island Express on Flatbush is the best roti ive had in a while. Most places either sell dhalpuri and call it roti, or is often too thin or oily.
