Dominica

I realize we don’t have any Dominica restaurants in NYC I think. Just caterers. What type of foods are popular there? You guys are heavy on the sea food?

Haitian food is starting to blow up big time especially in Queens with LEGIT resturants popping up now.


But for now I'll go with Jamaican cause its consistently good.


I only get chicken soup from Dominican spots to keep it real.

Yea Haitian restaurants ironically have blown up due to gentrification. Haitians know they won’t have problems impressing hipsters with their food.

There was a Haitian spot across my college in Manhattan and a lot of the professors would go in groups to eat the food.

Professors from all different backgrounds.

Never had Haitian and I lived in wpb.

Though i'm African, my most favorite Carribean spots are Jamaican easily.

Haitian food is also becoming my favorite from my former roommate since dude used to have his mom bring over food.

Never tried Bajan, Grenadian, or St. Vincent food.

Brooklyn has way more St. Vincent bakeries than restaurants I think.

I ate food in Guadeloupe that was very good to.
