some people prefer character and story, and in their opinion the prequels didn't deliver in those respects. they don't like the way they were handled.
THIS!!!! Dapped + Repped! I never understood why folks like @MartyMcFly ask me why I think Episode 3 is the best movie in the series.
Like I said TOO MUCH big, epic, game-changing shyt happend in Episode 3 that folks shouldn't have to defend why they think Episode 3 is the best movie..
Yeah but it's not executed in a way to make it all work. It's great that awesome stuff happens but if it's not compelling or interesting or uneven it's moot. A flick is about more than just things happening. Look at fury road. There's really not a lot that happens in the movie but it's all done in an interesting way and it's got so much damn energy and its so propulsive. And when it does slow down for a few seconds or minutes you're with characters you care about because they're all doing a good job to make you care rather than a movie that's trusting your nostalgia and love for the saga to make you care

Episode 3 is the only one of the prequels that's somewhat good. It doesn't touch episode 4 and 5 but I can see it being better than episode 6. 6 just isn't that good. In fact sections of that movie are straight bad.
I'm flabbergasted by this. I've only read that bullshyt on this board. But this place has a lot of Encino men so I take their opinion with a grain of salt
