Which nba star from the 90s or early 2000s do you think would be average in today's game?

The fact that nikkas know who Joe ingles is lets you know Bird would feast.
i
Cac was straight up cookin OKC & even Houston season before last, but Bird can’t see the court :heh:

Ain’t Gordon Hayward on a max contract? Made an All-Star team in the Western conference... I guess he’s better than Bird too :mjlol:

Niqqa...the game had scoring droughts and bad players who had a due to hyper expansion. i didnt enjoy. I liked what I saw in the 80s much better. No amount of youtube clips will show the 6 minute scoring droughts between the Knicks and Pacers. :gag:
Those were my examples. Its different for everybody. Teams have droughts now. How many straight 3s did houston miss that playoff game. 27? You can always find that. Its a part if the game. The 80s and 90s players were less "skilled" than players are now. Back then it was about giving everything to win that game no matter the score. They had droughts but nikkas was getting shut down in the paint. Not only bc they missed shots. Kinda like the original xfl compares to the nfl. Xfl is exciting with less skilled players and fun to watch. The NFL has all the skill in the world but gets boring at times. Its what happens during that low scoring game that makes it enjoyable to me.

Nah dog. Im not going back 20 years and changing my mind about what I saw. It was iso basketball with less than great players on teams that had some much roster movement that the play simply wasnt as good as the decade prior. It wasnt. I didnt enjoy it and said it in real time back then.

That's how you feel. Its not wrong or right. Im a 80s baby so i didnt see much from the 80s. As a kid and a fan when I saw the rivalries, players legit hating their opponents and players doing whatever to win made it exciting for me.

Edit: don't even bring up roster movement after this off season. nikkas joining teams that they couldn't beat was unheard of back then

Barkley could become a stretch 4. Especially later in Philly and in Phoenix. I remember him in Philly and facing Oakley who was giving him trouble until CB made that heavy footed brute step outside the paint after raining jumper after jumper on him. Frustrated the shyt out of Oakley who started getting t’s hard fouling him. :russ:
Barkley is statistically one of the bottom 10 three-point shooters in NBA history
Vince Carter is clearly one of the most overrated players of all time...
I am not reading any of your long ass posts because you completely misunderstood my post.

I said Vince is an all-time great talent. I never said he was an all-time great player. Vince could have beasted in any era, that doesn't mean he could/would.

44 bricks...acre shaker
Steve Nash would be good with the emphasis on the 3 ball considering he was one of the greatest ever at that. And considering he played and was effective at a time with cats like Russy Dame Wall and Kyrie were in the league he would be good. DC and Manning would be good with their size and ability to shoot.

DC was good 92-94 he was a problem.... but drazen death in 93...was still fukkin with em..became injury prone...n stop givin a shyt...i was a net fan back then...kuz of mookie...been knowin him my whole life

dc was the original point forward but he declined fast

i hated danny kuz of the sooner vs jayhawks ncaa title...my aunt put a freezer spell on em...didnt work until he got the nba....lol

i hated steve nash...he robbed dirk of his mvp....n dirk won a title without him..he had to win one as a consultant..

He not smiling, Bron literally smirked and shook his head
Smirk or smile its semantics. I dont get how thats not fakkit shyt but nikka throwing your game off by physically putting hands on you is. Flop or not if a nikka keep kicking and slapping you gonna throw you off. Especially someone as flamboyant as rodman.

"James produced a career-low 7 points in the game, but played just 24 minutes due to foul trouble as the Pacers pulled to within 3-2 in the series with a 93-90 victory."

Pacers vs Cavs: LeBron James vs Lance Stephenson timeline

The game he blew in his ear he had 7 points. A career low after a nikka blew in his ear and y'all really think he wouldn't fall apart mentally against GP, Rodman, pippen or Reggie miller?

Lance got flamed for that too
What's your definition of flamed bc that made him more popular. Fast forward to last season and they're on the same team.

He played 24 minutes in a postseason game, I don’t think Lance blowing in his ear had any correlation to him not producing. Reggie Miller notoriously played awful in games his team needed lmao
