Which Hollywood Director Has The GOAT Streak of Films?

I thought about this one quite a bit. I could only come up with Robert Bresson, specifically Diary of a Country Priest/A Man Escaped/Pickpocket. His films before/after that are great, but back to back, that's the GOAT streak of any filmmaker, imo.

That being said I voted for Scorsese. Almost 50 years of classics.

Coppola fell off too quickly imo; after Apocalypse Now, the movies were average.
