On-topic, even though his effectiveness as president is debatable, just being the first black president puts Obama in the top 20.

One in the same to me....But anyway what did Pac influence you to do? For brothas that were trying to enter the science /engineering/math/physics fields. We could look to Carson & Neil and see that it was possible and they weren't held back by the color of his skin and that we were just as smart as "Them". Pac tried to make 2 coasts go to war with each other( More black on black crime ), The funny thing is, Pac wasn't even Pac when he lived here in Baltimore. Dude became a thug overnight or something...lol.... I think some of yall are getting being the most visible mixed up with Influence.

For Pac to be up there with the rest of them, you have to believe that every black person listens/likes rap music, you have to believe he opened doors for people that weren't trying to be a rapper. I just don't see it.

Legend in the music industry sure. But to put him up there with MLK, Obama and others. Hell no. We don't need our kids being influenced by rappers. That's part of the problem now, too many of these young nikkas out here think the only way to get money is through rap, sports or drugs. At the end of the day , he was a rapper. One minute call our women bytches and the next queens......one minute it's kill another nikka, the next it's peace.
