yeah if he ends up working out for them him and Maybin will do a fine job I think
I heard Maybin put on weight, which doesn't seem to make any sense as he was bast on some speed rush on the edge shyt.

Please....Maybin got nothing but coverage sacks for the Jets. Dude had the longest time to get to a QB for his sacks more than most.
He's soooo overatted.
I agree that he is one dimensional
i don't wish you guys improve in any way though
Dude is overrated. It' took him an average of 7 seconds per sack. He got one sack under 4 seconds.

That's some good analysis on your part.
Never thought much of the guy myself
another thing revis can get credit for then
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!
When QB's can't find anyone open because he has the main receiver on smash which allows the defense to scheme on others, it results in scrubs like Maybin getting sacks.

In two seasons with the Bills, first-round pick Aaron Maybin never recorded a sack. If youre drafted for your pass-rushing skills, thats a pretty good sign that youre a bust.
But since being picked up by the Jets, Maybin has six sacks in limited playing time. Was he really a bust, or was he simply misused by the Bills? The numbers may say that he was an untapped talent, but a closer look at Maybins sacks seems to indicate they are more a function of good coverage than great pass-rushing skills.
Of Maybins six sacks, only one has been recorded in less than three seconds. Three of them have taken longer than 3.5 seconds. Two of them have come on bootlegs where Maybin eventually ran down quarterbacks as they ran out of room to run at the sideline
Where does Eric Smith fit into all of this.

When i heard at the start of last season that he was a defensive captain...He sucks ass. He was a huge liability, especially with teams that had half way decent tight ends.
Doesn't take away that the Jets secondary is amongst the best in the league because Revis allows our defense to run more schemes than most. He practically kept a bum like Eric Smith in the league longer than he should have been.
