Tbr you ain't gon get the full LA experience from any 1 neighborhood, if you want the beach then Venice is cool. If you want to be somewhere with more going on at night then KTown is cool although a lot of the spots there enforce strict dress codes. The most tourist friendly area is Hollywood, most of the clubs and bars there simply charge cover (usually $20-35) and don't care about your appearance. DTLA is the newest scene as far as clubs and bars but also feels gentrified, there's some cool rooftop clubs there though.

Seriously, what's good about downtown LA? Every time I'm out in LA, I don't even check out downtown.

The one time I did go out there to check out the Art District this bum ass nikka was walking down the street with his dikk out pissing. :snoop:

I just bounced after I saw that shyt. :smh:

I don't stay there though, so if others say it's not in general, I'd take their word over mine.

Was thinking of staying at a downtown spot, but already living in a metropolitan city, downtown probably is the same everywhere. Living by the beach would be cool, and checking out downtown at night (Within reasonable distance) should be fine

DTLA is dope breh. There's a lot of bars and restaurants down there now. I just hate the parking situation. Plus If I'm on date trying smash, I like to stay in a 5 mile radius, so DTLA aint cutting it:beli:

Even then limit DTLA to Thrus - Saturday Night

When it's live down there, it's fukking live and hoes are everywhere. But if it's a ghost town, you'll feel like you're wasting your time....

But the good thing is at night, baring an accident on the 101,getting to hollywood blvd is only 10 minute, from DTLA....

True, the advantage of being downtown though is that the transit is good and there's much more going on at night than at the beach. Traffic in LA is no bullshyt breh

Yeah you were east of Broadway which is completely different from west of Broadway where all the new clubs are, A lot of Skid Row is still as fukked up as it ever was.

:jbhmm:

What's dope about it tho? It's literally like the last place I think about hitting up when I go out there. Every time I go out there, I hit up the Beaches, go to some black owned food spots in Inglewood, go out in the Hills and Hollywood.
