Thanks in terms of cost of living, race relations, and job/economic opportunities how would you describe them?
Vegas is Mexico north, just like everywhere else in the southwest. The cost of living is low, and the economy is pretty good right now.
But entertainment and tourism are the only major industries so when overall US economy is bad, it's terrible here.
What type of employment are you planning on getting here in vegas? Basically you can work in a hotel, resturant, or niteclub.

Miami has a tough economy for black professional men. Race relations are alright but Miami and South Florida overall are very segregated. A household income of $55k or better then you can live great. That's $27.5k between two adults and it is easier said than done. When I secure a teaching position and my friend sells his house, we're going to have a household (bachelor pad) that clears $100k so our outlook of South Florida will definitely change.

Pros:
Plenty of unmarried, professional women (all ethnicities)
Weather
Modest CoL (just got to live within your means)
Food choices
Diverse Nightlife (If you care about that type of thing)

Cons:
Nepotism in the job market
Money pit (There are a million ways to spend money needlessly)
Majority small and medium businesses (stagnant wages)
Public Transportation
Awful drivers
Public education isn't great (If you want to start a family better than Atlanta :yeshrug:)
A strange culture that celebrates excess (breeds criminality among poor; brazen crimes and fraud)

ATL to MEM
Atlanta has traffic out the ass and terrible public transportation rooted in racism. It's a lot to do here but you can't get to it because of the traffic.

Carol city
All tree of them have astronomical aids rates.

Cost of living in Miami might be worse that new york city. Spanish people everything and everywhere, good thing or bad thing depending on how you feel. If you not bilingual it's 3 times harder to get a job. Traffic is terrible.

Pros, temperature never drops below 70, topless beach, exotic women, regular women, strippers, and porn stars always around. Good cheap Spanish food.

You're right but affordability is one of the worst in the country because of rising prices and stagnant wages. I think that's what he was referring to.

The Truth
  1. Considering I actually lived in 2/3...

Atlanta

Pro's:

Cost of living isnt to bad in surrounding areas

Tons of black people

Close to other states (Fla, Bama, Carolina)

Decent job selection if youre black and got your shyt together

Sporting events are usually fun/lit

Concerts and events... Kinda the hub of the south

Most people are cool

Cons:

Commuting, traffic, roads

Transplants

Homosexuals and ratchets among transplants

GA taxes and fees

Can be a lil dangerous (friends been robbed, shot, etc.)

Miami:

Pros:

Weather

Beautiful Women everywhere. A lot of them cool af too

Things to do all over south florida

Sporting events

No state tax

Colleges are dope and inexpensive

Nightlife is lit

Cons:

Can suck if you dont like spanish people

Traffic (not as bad as ATL)

Sucks if you're broke

Dangerous as well

Far af from other states

Hurricane season is wild af

And thats all i really can think of atm. Personally, im more biased for Miami at this current time. Ive grown to like it more and like ATL less. If you move to ATL make sure you move close to your job or prepare to sit in traffic for about 3 hours a day. I like the women more in Miami, ATL seems to be really into that ratchet shyt these days. Almost every chick i see has a chest tat or some red flag shyt. Cost of living isnt as bad as places like LA/NY/etc. There are rich areas but there are other areas where you could get decent spots and etc for cheap. i know nikkas out there paying rent for about 1 stack and that isnt bad.
